About
Bonne Steinz (she/they) is an autonomous artist and visual designer focused on directing (stopmotion) animation, animating with traditional 2D techniques, creating puppets and building miniatures and sets. Through fantastical and imaginative visuals she likes to tell personal stories on self-growth, mental health and identity to provoke a nostalgic hunger to feed the inner child.
Bonne graduated at the Willem de Kooning Academy in 2024 and won a Dutch Film Fonds Wildcard with their film 'Een Olifant in de Porseleinkast' ('An Elephant in the Porcelain Cabinet').
